Eclipse Comics Seduction of the Innocent Pre-code reprints.
Looking further into 1980s and 90s pre-code horror comic book reprints, in episode four we look at stellar comic book artists Bernie Wrightson, Dave Stevens, Alex Toth, Reed Crandall, and others who graced the pages of the great Seduction of the Innocent Series featuring six full color issues and two 3-D issues published by Eclipse comics in the mid 1980s.
The title for the comic book series was taken from the 1950s “Seduction of the Innocent” by Dr. Frederic Wertham, the disgruntled old man who led the charge against comic books in the pre-code era and helped bring about the disastrous “Comics Code Authority.”
