LOVECRAFT In FLORIDA Blu-Ray
I am very pleased to present my latest documentary film LOVECRAFT In FLORIDA in a special signed blu-ray edition along with my previous documentary HAUNTED THRILLS.
In April of 2024 I discovered that the
fabled Barlow house in DeLand, Florida
where H.P. Lovecraft spent about four months during his last years was still there.
In August of that year I travelled across
the Sunshine State to DeLand and St. Augustine, the oldest continuously occupied town in North America.
Lovecraft spent about two months in the ancient city (with a few side trips) making his cumulative time in Florida nearly six months in total.
This is significant because beyond his home state of Rhode Island and a two year stay
in New York, I believe the old gent spent more time in Florida than any other state in his life. For the first time in a documentary, you will see the Barlow house and surrounding property and discover Lovecraft’s favorite places in the ancient city of St. Augustine.
HAUNTED THRILLS is my previous film about the pre-code horror and science fiction comic books of the 1950s.  In this unique documentary, I found three living pre-code horror comics artists from that era and took a trip to the incredible METROPOLIS COLLECTIBLES in New York City for a chat with owner Vincent Zurzolo.
